Suburbs of Louisville, KY – where it’s big enough to be a city, but small enough to still be friendly.  

Do you have solar panels installed on your home? If not, would you ever consider it?

I’ve looked into installing solar panels along with battery storage, but the up-front costs were prohibitive and would only replace 50% of my usage. For the investment, I would want to be able to fully handle my household demand.

How many people are in your household? What are their age ranges?

There are 5 people in my household, mostly adults and older teens.  

What do you do for a living/what industry do you work in?

I work in IT in the healthcare insurance industry.

WhichGeneverse (formerly Generark) products did you purchase?

HomePower ONE. It works beautifully as a backup in my home, and as a power source for scout camping. It powered one of the leader’s CPAP machines all week, powered a blower fan during a particularly hot and humid trip, helped complete a service project, and charged well with the solar panels.

Why did you decide to purchase a backup battery power station?

Needed one for summer camp to power a CPAP machine.

How many times have you used your products since their arrival? Has it only ever been during a blackout? 

I have used it for scout summer camp, blackouts (powered the refrigerator like a champ), scout projects and other camping trips.  

Tell us about any unique ways you have or plan to use your Geneverse (formerly Generark) generators. Have you used it outside of your home or within your community, like while camping, for example? 

Absolutely, it is a great camping power source, and helped when we needed to drill holes in posts when there wasn’t a handy power supply.

What devices and home appliances have you powered with your Geneverse (formerly Generark) products?

It powered my full size, fully stocked refrigerator during a blackout; charges cell phones like a champ; powered tools for a scout service project; and is a great option for portable power all around.

What do you consider to be the best feature or benefit of your Geneverse (formerly Generark) products?

The ability to take a power source wherever it’s needed and in the format required (12V DC, 110V A/C, USB, USB-C).  They are quality products, built to last, and ready to work.

What is one thing you would tell anyone who hasn’t yet purchased a backup battery power station?
