If you’re considering a backup battery power station to help get you through the blackouts during the winter, check out the HomePower ONE. And, don’t just take our word for it! We have been conducting a series of Customer Interviews all year long. Check out more in our past blogs, and read on to learn what one of our customers had to say about their purchase:
Where do you live (city, rural, suburb)?
Erin, NY.
Do you have solar panels installed on your home?
No, not at this time.
Would you ever consider it?
Given the high cost, I don’t feel it would be cost effective here in the northeast, with the amount of days we have with full sun.
How many people are in your household, and are you comfortable sharing their age ranges?
There are two of us in the house, both aged 70.
What do you do for a living and what industry do you work in?
I’m retired now, but I worked in construction the last few years.
What product did you purchase from Geneverse (formerly Generark)?
I purchased the HomePower ONE bundle.
Why did you decide to purchase a backup battery power station?
Where I live, we have more than our fair share of power outages. I also purchased this for use in my motorhome.
What made you choose Geneverse (formerly Generark)?
I like the look and style, such as with the folding handle, for example. Most of all, it has a longer warranty compared to your main competitor.
Do you consider yourself to be a tech-savvy person? How was your experience setting up the product for its first use?
I’m somewhat tech-savvy, but there were no issues during setup.
How many times have you used your products since their arrival? Has it only ever been during a blackout?
Not just during a blackout. I also tried using it on multiple appliances around the house to see which ones worked with no issue. In particular, I used it for my air fryer.
Tell us about any unique ways you have or plan to use your Geneverse (formerly Generark) generator. Have you used it outside of your home or within your community, like while camping, for example?
I plan on using it in my RV when we travel next year.
What do you consider to be the best feature or benefit of your Geneverse (formerly Generark) product?
It’s easy to use.
Are there improvements you would suggest or things you wish the product could also do?
No. However, I think the solar panels could use some tweaking.
What is one thing you would tell anyone who hasn’t yet purchased a backup battery power station?
Having one is like having cheap insurance for the inevitable power outages we all come across in our lives.
In the future, if Geneverse (formerly Generark) introduced an App available for download on mobile and desktop, would you be interested in using it? If so, how?
Absolutely! I’d love to be able to check the battery supply on the power station. Plus, it would be great to read blogs and check for any recent updates.
