We were happy to have a conversation with one of our customers who recently purchased our HomePower ONE PRO (Battery + Solar Panels). We are always happy to hear from our customers about how they use our products.

Where are you located?

My family and I live in Wyoming.

Do you have solar panels installed on your home? If not, would you ever consider it? 

I do not but I’m looking into getting it installed. I plan to do solar/battery storage.

How many people are in your household? 

Five.

What do you do for a living/what industry do you work in? 

I own/operate a landscaping company and a snow removal company.

Geneverse HomePower ONE PRO Solar Generator (battery and two solar panels).

Why did you decide to purchase a backup battery power station?

I purchased one so I can power my freezer – I store a lot of meat. I need to make sure that freezer always has power or I’m spoiling expensive food. 

But I also use it when I’m on work sites – it comes in handy for things like coffee makers, charging employee phones, and other uses. I can also charge battery packs for power tools with it.

Do you consider yourself to be a tech-savvy person? How was your experience setting up the products for their first use? 

I’m very tech savvy – I have to be as a business owner, at least in my respective industry. 

How many times have you used your products since their arrival? Has it only ever been during a blackout? 

I’ve used it twice already. We live in an area where there are a lot of outages and there is severe winters. 

Tell us about any unique ways you have or plan to use your Geneverse generators. Have you used it outside of your home or within your community, like while camping, for example? 

As I mentioned, I like bringing it out to work sites – on some work days I just keep it in my truck. I’ll probably buy an extra one that I can bring to work and still have one to keep at home.

What devices and home appliances have you powered with your Geneverse products? 

My wife and I have used it to power our CPAP machines. We also used it to power my freezer during a 6-hour outage.

What is one thing you would tell anyone who hasn’t yet purchased a backup battery power station?

It’s a necessity for every household. This solar generator is great to use and it is part of my family’s emergency response plan. The fact that we have this solar generator as well as other tools for when the going gets tough, it increases our confidence and lessens our anxiety about events that are outside of our control. I think that’s important in this day and age.
